The Rivière: A River of Light

Derived from the French word for "river," the Rivière necklace is defined by its seamless flow. Unlike traditional necklaces that feature a central focal point, the Rivière is a continuous stream of stones, typically graduating slightly in size toward the center.

The hallmark of a masterpiece Rivière is its articulation. Each setting must be linked with such precision that the necklace behaves like a silk ribbon, following the exact contour of the wearer's collarbone without twisting or catching.

Ideal Length

16 to 18 inches for a classic collar fit.

Setting Style

Collet or claw-set for maximum brilliance.

"The Art of Invisibility"

At The Diamond Gallery, our Rivière chains utilise a proprietary internal hinge mechanism. This 'invisible' engineering ensures that no metal is visible from the profile, creating the illusion of diamonds floating upon the skin.

The Tennis Bracelet

Chronology & Craft

Originally known as the "Eternity Circle," this design gained its legendary moniker in 1987. Beyond its name, the technical challenge of a Tennis bracelet lies in its structural equilibrium.

A gallery-grade bracelet must maintain perfect alignment. Every diamond is hand-selected not just for its individual grade, but for its visual synergy with its neighbours. This ensures a consistent "line of light" that remains uniform regardless of movement.

Key Considerations for Your Selection

The Gradient Scale

For Rivière necklaces, the gradation must be mathematical. A 0.1mm variance can break the visual flow of the curve.

Articulation

A bracelet should be able to coil completely into a circle without any resistance or visible gaps between links.
